I'd say go home with the family for X-mas, unless you had a shitty home life, why the fuck not? Christmas time is probably the only time I can/will tolerate spending a lot of time with my family and it usually results in getting cool shit. I have some money problems at the moment, nothing serious like debt, but I am sort of poor. I need to purchase a new computer at some point (having to borrow parents laptop atm since mine died). I would like to move into my own apartment, which would cost me more $$ per month. I also need a new car at some point, as well as pay back my parents for helping me fix my car. These are the big ones, but there are also other things that I would like to buy (but don't have money for).

 

Which would you do?

 

Save your money... if you live at home and can't afford a new computer, moving out on your own is probably not a good idea. I recently moved out of my parents house. I live in the Cleveland area where cost of living is very very low compared to other areas of the country, I take home about 700 dollars a week after taxes, and its still not always easy... but I spend way too much money at the bar also. If i cut that out, I would have a lot more money. Not to mention if I don't have my gf move in with me soon i'm probably gonna die soon because of my not so balanced diet of frozen processed food, canned food, hamburgers, bar food, and fast food since I don't know how to cook. You would think a diet like that would make you a fat ass.. but quite the opposite... I'm losing weight if anything.
