Posted October 2, 200717 yr It was the weirdest thing, I shut my comp down, I go to school. Once I get back I boot up my comp, go on Firefox and all my bookmarks are gone... Thank God I just reformatted my hard drive and I saved all my important bookmarks. But that was a month ago, and I have a lot of newly saved bookmarks. You know I switched from IE to FF because I heard it was better and more stable and blah blah blah, but man I think I might just go back to IE if this happens again. Anyways has anyone here ever had this problem? Or is this just an isolated incident?
October 2, 200717 yr It has happened to me three times. and all three times that it happened I had firefox open and I either just held the power button to turn it off or the power went out.

Anyways, thanks to the last 2 posters, you actually answered my Q's.

And yes, I know it's not Firefox's fault that I didn't back up everything. But honestly I've never thought I had to... I guess I learned my lesson this time.
October 3, 200717 yr SWAT, Go in to ur 'Event Viewer' and see if you can find any errors the next time this happens. Open it up now, for the hell of it, and see if you see errors.
