Posted October 3, 200717 yr I just saw Quake Wars at WalMart and i didnt even know it was out yet. Anyone play it? Any good? I finally bought Starcraft at a yard sale for 2$ and i love it. So i bought Stronghold 2 and ive had Empire Earth. Know any other good RTS games. World in Conflict looks really good. And i wouldnt mind getting Supreme Commander. Any other suggestions?
October 4, 200717 yr RED ALERT oh yeah, alot of the early C&C games were awsome, red alert 2 was also very good go buy the 10 year pack for C&C, you wont regret it
October 4, 200717 yr Author Starcraft 2 and you have all the other good ones(stronghold,sc1) Well SC2 isn't out yet is it? Plus id like to finish the 1st one before i get the 2nd. Which with my experience with finishing games will take another 6 months. I saw one at Target that was a War RTS and its was only 10$. I cant remember the name, it started with an F like Fire at Will or something, but i decided to get Stronghold since ive been wanting too since it came out. So basically just Command...? I played the Rome demo a couple years ago and didnt like it. What about EE2? Plus' Whats involved in the MP on these games? Just basically go 1v1 with someone till somebody wins? Or go up the ladder in points?

October 6, 200717 yr Also, World in Conflict MP involves up to 8 vs 8. Each player takes a role (Air, Infantry, Armour, Support) and they coordinate their own units. It's often good to have Two support squads, one with AA vehicles to take down enemy choppers and the other with artillery ect.. So far i've found the WiC MP quite good. RA2 MP was fucking mint when people still played it (do they nowadays?)

Great graphic wise. Can get real glitchy sometimes, but the game is well worth it. The newer patches fixed most of them in which have been found, but theres still a few around. Online is a bastard. Only managed to win a few games with teammates. They tend to rush with apc's with rocket squads in them, if i recall correctly. I tried a bit of raging on it, you cant really do anything to rage a teammate, or an enemy. Steal their tiberium? I don't know if this is true or not, but all the rounds i played online, all had Friendly fire ON. If you build a super weapon, then when the countdown ends, and wait long enough, your teammate will bitch at you saying, "FIRE It LOSER!!!1" or something along those lines. If you fire it into your teammates base, it's destruction is pretty satisfying. Try to hit close to their Power supply buildings. Hit those, they will have no power, and it will take a while to build/ re-rout power through there base, or blow up their tiberium field. Either works great.
October 11, 200717 yr Ok dude those RTS games are good but if you want one INSANE RTS that will eat up your life, get Rise Of Nations, it takes ALOT of time tho, its pretty good tho i like it EDIT: C&C 3 PWNS ALL THO
October 11, 200717 yr Author I just ordered Red Alert, Its only like 6$ on ebay. I think after that im going for World in Conflict or C&C3. But only after i get The Orange Box.
