Reffing ice hockey is where it's at. 25 bucks an hour.

I remember my first job =)

I was a porter at Metro Powersports.

I worked full time over the summer making 7.50 an hour to make motorcycles, atvs, quads, and blasters look pretty. Sat in the garage and prepped bikes.

Got fired for "stealing" because something we didn't even have in stock was missing. After I was gone, they found out it was Rob, a ****** mechanic, and I don't think they even did anything about it. =/

Any job where you're able to get tips is win though.

The whole "money on top of money" thing is pretty nice. Even if you're doing pizza delivery and making 5 extra bucks a night because you were only able to do two runs, that's still 5 more dollars than you'd have. I never had to even touch my actual checks because I spent all my tip money.

You know you could sue Metro Powersports and get some money out of that

right now im doing mostly lifeguard in summer, spring/fall is all bartending, and winter i teach tourists/newbies how to snowboard.

^all this shit looks good on resume too, if they see ''3 years experience making patties at mcdonalds, and 2 years sitting in a office doing nothing.'' its probally going to reduce chance of getting a good job

Right, yeah they see you know how to snowboard, how to swim, and how to pour drinks. You have basic life skills, good fucking job. You might actually learn some shit working in an office.

Stay at a job for a long time only for a good reference. Trust me, you don't want to have to put down that the last 4 jobs you had you quit after 6 months. Don't worry about "advancement" or anything, especially at your age. Chances are you aren't going to have a job with any real advancement for the next 5-10 years anyway. Unless you are like Makong and work at Fosters Freeze at the age of 40.

Well, the great thing about where I work, is that you can move up really high. A bag boy became one of the top managers of the entire company. I'm not saying its easy, but it's possible.

ROFL this kid beleives his jobs propaganda.

OF COURSE THEY SAY YOU CAN MOVE UP thats how they get you to stay

as a bagboy for 2 fucking years with no pay raise, until you realize

that your a *** for staying that long with no compensation besides the

assurance of moving up.

WOOO way to go, you have a job, dont fucking start a gay ass thread

about it.

I was thinking about it, but in the long run I'm pretty sure it'd cost me more money to sue them than I'd get back. Plus, I was looking on the BBB, and they have a horrible reputation anyway, I don't think my case will change much.

i dont care if i have no where to move up. im 20, im thinkin of good money + fun and thats it. until i pay my way through school then ill have a good career and ill be ready to start thinkin about the future.

***gots

lol all i do is help people out with their selections and work the register, plus you can meet brainy chicks there too, who aren't dumb as fuck (unless you're in the sparknotes section)

Million dollar question - Do they put out?
