October 24, 200717 yr Yeah, a lot of black soldiers went over to fight for France voluntarily during the First World War before the United States entered in 1917. A lot of them stayed after the war because they were treated so well by the French. Begs the question of why the fuck ALL of them couldn't have stayed? Maybe they could have all been gassed when the Germans invaded in 1940.
