in the name of rage, i'm going to ignore all the lameness of this thread and instead try to help.

 

your concept of raging people who are "playing for sport" (how many pugs actually finish without someone trying to rage it, or someone leaving and screwing it up? please) is not a new one, however it seems you could have thought it out a little better.

 

a favorite pasttime of mine once taught to me by the jedi ninja master pineapple known as 0ne, many years ago, is the usefulness of the /list and sort abilities of gamesurge irc:

 

rather than owning pugs you can often times own real live cevo/cal/ogl matches and scrims by merely getting a full /list from gamesurge and then filtering the strings "pass" or "pw" in the topics, and then joining the server halfway through a match. fun ensues.

 

another much easier tactic is to just hit up #findscrim and spam 5v5 | cal-m+ | de_all | east/west/cent | yours, get their server password, and dont show up. 5-10 minutes later they should have a scrim going, and you will usually know which team owns the server. more often you can get more time in before getting kicked/banned if you join the "away" team because the "home" team will think its a ringer.

 

anyways, while much fun, these methods don't usually produce the kind of rage that is well-suited for videos and collages, as each run will only usually get you 1-2 minutes of actual playtime. it is however, guarunteed rage.

 

a note to you goron guys - you arent the first, or 10th, or 50th group to try to mimick myg0t and create a community such as ours. obviously we are not dissimilar in our ideas of the way to derive the most fun from our games. however, one thing stands out between myg0t and all of those other groups. we're still here. enjoy your stay.
