2gb crucial ballistix

p35 ds3l

the power supply is not really "small shit"

would go with a corsair 550

8800 gt's perform almost as well as the gtx's and are $250 cheaper.

Build it yourself. It's cheaper than any store price or what your friends offering.

Nvidia Geforce 7 Series is a good graphics card no need for a big fancy 8800 shit for $300 .

2 or 3 GB (for smoothest performance)

320 GB Hard drive

Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor

Thats pretty much whats needed for a good gaming computer . (Basically what my computer has)

The 8800 is supposed to be awesome but i keep reading stuff about awesome graphics but it slows some games down. Not alot of games i dont think.

I have a 7900gt XFX and i can pretty much run everything on high. Bioshock, Crysis, Far Cry, Fear. Fear i actually tried with Max everything and it ran at about 50 - 60 fps.

As far as the HD goes, you might wanna go with a 500Gb. They're not that much more. Mine was like 130$ and that was like 7 months ago. Plus with the new games and stuff they're all taking up 5gb or more now.
