Posted November 9, 200717 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/07/sci_nat_enl_1177430384/img/laun.jpg Astronomers have found the most Earth-like planet outside our Solar System to date, a world which could have water running on its surface. The planet orbits the faint star Gliese 581, which is 20.5 light-years away in the constellation Libra. Moreover, its radius should be only 1.5 times the Earth's radius, and models predict that the planet should be either rocky - like our Earth - or covered with oceans. The Gliese 581 super-Earth is in what scientists also sometimes call the "Goldilocks Zone", where temperatures "are just right" for life to have a chance to exist. http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42848000/gif/_42848423_superearth02_203.gif Is there life anywhere else? is a fundamental question we all ask ?? I think there is Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6589157.stm
November 9, 200717 yr interesting read Space freaks me out tbh. There could be a lot more planets like that considering how large space is. It really makes you feel insignificant.
November 9, 200717 yr Great now we can move from place to place fucking it up. FILL THE OCEANS WITH TOXIC WASTE. PAVE THE FORESTS AND JUNGLES, FILL THE AIR WITH POISONOUS GASES.
November 10, 200717 yr now that's pretty damn old mate. qft But its still quite interesting. I've always thought that people who didn't believe in aliens were stupider than people who did because a few of the people who did knew there were more planets than just the ones in our solar system. This doesn't mean the people on their planet will come and invade our earth though, theres only like a 1 in a 8743540398578093498379834 chance that they have the same intelligence as us and are as evolved as us
November 10, 200717 yr have u ever wondered like what is outside of space doesnt make much sense but think about it like how far does space go till u run into something like other than planets and shit

Just wanted to say so.
