November 16, 200717 yr Although true, the AK is prolly the best assault weapon, it doesnt jam break when bent it still shoots, fires different ammo then just the 7.62 round, and much more. i would never own one cause here in America alot of the fucking liberal pussies want to ban every assault looking rifle..... i personally say that you should save up for a M1911A1 handgun, personally probably the best handgun every made. I highly depends on the version you buy. If you buy an old Soviet AK-47 it won't jam even if it's left underground in the desert for a few decades (Afganistan). I know quite a few people with an Izhevsk manufactured version from the early 50's that still work like new. However if you're buying a variant - of which there are many; you're definitely going to run into some problems. They probably won't live up to your expectations. Also, I wanted to add this. If you're firing an AK illegally you may want to be very careful. The AK has a very distinct sound and any idiot will be able to identify that you're firing one. Even in semi-auto.

This rifle also carries 40 rounds per clip The G11 is quite possibly one of the most expensive weapons ever produced and was REJECTED from the Bundswehr for this reason alone. Taking in the fact that it uses caseless ammunition, an unproven method for modern warfare, and you have a weapon that is virtually just a grand idea, nothing more. Not to mention that with caseless ammunition, you're prone to overheating the weapon's barrel REALLY fast which would take away any accuracy you already had present in the gun.
