Posted November 11, 200717 yr Anyone see it yet? Thought it was a pretty solid movie after watching it at the cinema earlier tonight. Just wondering what everyone else thinks whether they've seen it or not.
November 11, 200717 yr i saw it like the second day it was out, it brought all the ******s in from around town. they kinda ruined it by screen talking, but it was funny when he shoots that guy in the head and every one in the audience says "oh shit", "oh snap", or "yahh booii" at the same time. movie was good, make sure you watch it with no blacks in the theater tho

November 11, 200717 yr Didn't really like the movie all that much. Sure the whole storyline was interesting, but I feel as though it could have been executed a lot better.. The movie was great all up to the end really, it just kinda ran out of steam.

November 12, 200717 yr Great movie Denzel starts the movie out with him and his "boss" walking into a store. Immediately you can tell the movie is based on the 1950s or around that time. Denzel is a driver for a white druglord until his boss dies. His boss taught him a lot over the years and years that he drove for him, his boss was an Italian gangster so he taught him how to be patient and think things through. He wants to make money, he wants to be what his boss was so he goes to his cousin-in-law who is overseas in korea/vietnam (IFORGETSOSTFU) in the war and they buy 50gs worth of pure cocaine and has it shipped into America. He sells it cheaper than anyone else, and he gives more than anyone else which shuts out everyone else so he is in business. He brings his mother and...10+ brothers.. from south carolina and moves them up with him into a big house, before they were all living in a shack. He had everything planned out and he ends up putting them all into business with him and has them open their own shops all around town where the product will be cut and distributed at. On the other side Russel Crowe plays a good cop that works with crooked cops, His wife is divorcing him throughout the movie and wants custody of the kids. He and his partner find 990,000$ in ones and turn it in. After that no cop wants to work with him so he is offered to open up his own office, pick his own men and do what he wants to do. He takes it and he starts to go after Denzels character and all of his cousins. I've never wrote a review and I wrote way too much basically wrote a summary... gay what ever, I won't give the ending though. American Gangster is a go see... so go see.
