Posted November 11, 200717 yr Im always interested in bringing rage to different platforms and COD4 is a great way to rage on the xbox360. Because there hasnt been rage on consoles until this generation introduced online play they havent had to take alot of the precautions that PC games take, for example TF2 not allowing door blocking. So far in COD4 it is a haven for door blocking, dropping smoke on a group of snipers, and general voice annoyance either through telling a story, or simply breathing into the mic. Along with many other undiscovered exploits as well. The people on consoles seem to often not be as tough skinned as people on the nets often are, which makes for some golden responses. The biggest downside is i havent figured out a reasonable method to display the rage to others, that doesnt include me videotaping, i might record some of the messages ive recieved onto my phone and try and upload them. Anyways, give your thoughts about console raging, and if you would like to rage COD4 on xbox with me, hit me up via pm tl;dr? stfu
November 11, 200717 yr Can you get banned for raging on xbox360?. I mean, is there a server admin or can you do what ever you like.
November 11, 200717 yr Author its hosted by another player, most people dont know how to kick, and that is all they can really do, but becuase you cannot pick and choose the server, unless u have a pal in that server to invite you back theres a good chance you wont get back on it. Wether you can be banned from xbox live? yes im sure you can.
November 11, 200717 yr I agree at the time when I had a 360 I would get on wasted/high whatever and jsut fuck around with people who took the game to seriously, door blocking pushing shit like that works great. My personal favorite is getting a racing game and driving backwards and crash into everyone, very fun
November 11, 200717 yr I'm glad you can't get a video, No one wants to see you running around embarrassing the [myg0t]tag

November 11, 200717 yr you can get banned from xboxlive, but in order for that to happen you need like 10,000 people to file a complaint against you in a week.
November 11, 200717 yr The best thing is, when you buy a new game, you get a free trial. Those are great for rage. As you won't care about getting banned people recognising you and keep kicking you ruining your rank or whatever. The best part about that is you can make a rage inducing name EX: A1InchPenis so when you kill them or whatever it will say "You were sniped by A1InchPenis" "You were beat down by A1InchPenis" "You were stuck by A1InchPenis" "You were assassinated by A1InchPenis" "A1InchPenis wins!" ect. Also, to get banned from xbox live is pretty much impossible. I have been using two accounts for...well... sense xbox live pretty much came out for rage. When one account gets suspended for a week or two I play on the other. I think I have been suspended a total of 11-13 times. It usually happens after extreame racism and cheating. Team killing/blocking/spamming ect has yet to get me suspended. I agree, console players are much easier to rage. Try galo 2-3 for instant rage results. Some 11-13 year old will start screaming at you for nothing. Then when you actually try to rage? ahhaha wow. Edit: 87% of xbox live has avoided me it says on my profile, lol!
November 11, 200717 yr If you plan to do voice annoys and make videos of you doing so on the 360 games, I highly recommend that the rage footage as well as people's responses be recorded with a standard video capture device, instead of holding a shitty camcorder near your TV screen. Now, I understand this brings up two dillemas: One, you can't hear the others' responses through the TV while wearing a headset, and two, you can't record your own voice/sound effects using the video capture device. I'll tell you how to solve both problems. First, in order to make peoples' rage be audible on the video recording device while having a headset connected, you have to first make it so the guys speaking over their headsets will speak over the televeision and not just through your headset. To do this, Push the "home" button on your controller, go to "personal settings", select "voice", then pick "Play through both" or "Play through speakers" on the voice output portion of the menu. This way, you can hear their responses through the TV, and the recording device can capture them. Second, since there is no HLSS for the 360, the best way to do voice annoys is to upload your favorite sound files onto an mp3 player, plug it into some speakers, crank up the volume and then play it reeaally close to the mic. In order to make those sounds audible on a video, you're gonna have to keep copies of those sound files on your computer, and then combine/sync those files with the audio of the recorded footage during the video editing process. This way, when you play the video, you can hear what kind of annoying sounds you're playing in addition to the raged responses. Follow these steps, and walla: You've got an HLSS style rage footage of an online console game. Prepare for some mega rifk if people on the other team are unfortunate enough to have the "Eavesdrop" perk on COD4. I recommend you having the eavesdrop perk too to hear their responses. :naughty: Maybe its time myg0t moved to uncharted territories, since almost NOBODY on Xbox live even knows how to mute anyone or deal with rage communities like myg0t. Plus, if you're doing team rages, you can take advantage of the friends lists and the party invite system to keep track of each other and stick together in matchmaking games. There's lots of potential to be had in raging console games...
November 11, 200717 yr there is something where you can put pre recorded mp3 files on something and play it back. Check best buy
November 13, 200717 yr door blocking is an easy one ive found, also when your team is playing real shitty on a tdm server team flashing them or stunning them is awesome door blocking a stairwell also is great for playing headquarters and the cap point is upstairs
November 13, 200717 yr I personally don't really like to rage games that I've payed for and/or am paying a subscription for.. Which is why I hardly rage anymore. When the massive Counter-Hack leak came about though... that was fun. :D
