November 19, 200717 yr i'm head of my fire dept's video games and computers. we just send one of our 360s in after we got the red ring. got it back like 3 weeks later. brand new xbox with all the profiles on the new one and 2 months of xbox live gold for free.

November 20, 200717 yr Mine doesn't get a red ring, brand new game out in (Assassins creed), after about an hour and a bit of game play, says my disc is dirty, freezes the game. I open the disc tray to find that, its not dirty, infact its brand new. Only sometimes i get that.
November 20, 200717 yr yo killbydeath i got the same problem, it would freeze a couple times saying the game is dirty, and then eventually i would be in a game and its just like "please insert game" peace of shit system, im sending it in to get repaired. (theres a 3 year warrenty for all systems right now, you dont need to pay at all just call) and then im trading it in for a wii
November 20, 200717 yr im all fine and im glad about it because i flushed the hardware of the dvd drive, which means i had to put it in pieces which breaks the "forbidden seal" :x oh and i'm very disappointed in assassins creed...the ending is just bs :(

November 20, 200717 yr i wish i never had...it was a great experience but i almsot cired when they came up with the "you completed assassins creed" achievement. i didn't even realize it was over when suddenly that achievement popped up. reminds of love... :tear: *gets all emotional in this thread*

Still though, I throw my Gamecube against the wall and piss on it and it'll still work.
