its sad that some would want to change the way an animal was born just to make them happier with the way they look. its a matter of whether or not your dog looks tough only to someone who lacks respect for the animal. wouldn't you love it if your parents decided for you that you'd look better with a pierced eyebrow and you couldn't do anything about it? the dog is your pet and it is your responsibility to feed, take care of, and love it, not to arrange a surgery on their ears so they look cool. if you go through with this you will be putting your whims infront of an animals born right to not have its body altered by another's choice.

First of all I'd like to say I'm not a dog lover, I was merely giving my opinion.

To respond to your question, the dog would have been unconscious during the operation and would not recognize the person who caused the changes in the first place. Not only that but a dog isn't intelligent enough to seek out the person for revenge. I don't understand what your trying to say about the dog being punished for its offense either, that's how it works with humans as well. It's a universal law...

 

Second of all I never said a dog had any right other than it's natural born right, which all living creatures (I'm going to go ahead and add for the sake of sympathy domesticated household pets) have to not be altered by another's choosing. Just because you are humane and realize this does not mean dogs need sophisticated legal supervision applied to them and should live on their own.
