there is a simplier and more permant way, just open the spy.vmt and remove the invisiblity code.

okay i extracted the vmt from the gcf, placed it into the folder, but which are the lines to "comment" ?

Alternatively, someone could upload their .vmt files and save everyone else the trouble of duplicating the work, although here at myg0t we're all misanthropes who can't be bothered with such tasks.

Hey guys,

Could I get a lil' help here?

Well I'm assuming the files you need to edit are:

  • spy_red.vmt
  • spy_blue.vmt

Because I don't see a spy.vmt if any of the 3 gcf files.

Here's my spy_red.vmt:

"VertexLitGeneric"

{

"$basetexture" "models\player\spy\spy_red"

}

spy_blue.vmt:

"VertexLitGeneric"

{

"$basetexture" "models\player\spy\spy_blue"

}

And I put them into:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf\materials\models\player\spy

And it doesn't seem to work ingame.

Any help?
