The UK arrests took place on the afternoon of 21 April, when officers from the UK's National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) together with local forces executed search warrants at three addresses in Belfast, Manchester and Sheffield. Three men, a 30 year-old from Belfast, a 34 year-old from Manchester, and a 22 year-old from Sheffield were arrested. April 24, 200421 yr arrest not going to make no difference, there is more to fairlight then just 2 people, and even if they find a way to get all of the fairlight peps there still a fucken warez underground society to arrest. To stop warez from happening u dont arrest the people providing it, it really depends on the person downloading the warez, dont even worry about the 2 getting arrested, they be out of jail in no time.

April 24, 200421 yr The arrest is suppose to set an example, it does not mean that the authorities are going to arrest every single warezer, but acts more like a deterrent. If less people do it then it cuts down their work and makes it easyer for them to catch the rest. In any case it's still an act of government brutality, these men have done nothing to hurt others and arresting them is a mere act of policing. At least Canada hasn't jumped on this Big Brother bandwagon and that puts me to ease, sucks to live anywhere else.
