A shell is something a turtle has encased around its body, to protect it from harm. There are many other animals who live in shells as well, including marine animals.

Nice chrono.. but too bad the php.jpg trick is not as common, since sysadmins are smarting up and have learned of a wonderful apache setting called suexec.
