Posted December 22, 200717 yr I'm trying to figure out how to get unbanned from a vent server so I can rage it over and over and I need to know, when someone bans you is it a Name ban, or an IP ban, it says "You are on the ban list", thats why I think its a name ban, if its an IP ban I know the steps on how to change my IP but whenever I do, I lose connection and I cant connect to anything, then I have to reconfig my modem. December 23, 200717 yr Ok, I pm'ed AFRICA-UNIT and here are his instructions for changing your ip: AFRICA-UNIT said: -Unplug your modem -Wait 5 minutes -Put modem in microwave for 5 minutes on "High" power level (This causes the memory to be erased from the modem which will be renewed when you plug it back in) -Plug modem back in and there you go, a new ip
December 23, 200717 yr Author lol thanks but i figured it out, i went to http://192.168.1.1 and just disconnected and reconnected the modem from there then turned the modem on and off

February 8, 200817 yr frist open up cmd then type ipconfig /release then a ting will pop up saying internet unpluged orsomtin like that and dubble click it then go to details then go to TCP/IP and dubble click then click chose use the following, type random shit as new ip then press tab click ok then ok on the other thing..... then reopen it go to tcp thing and use optian ip automaticly click ok then ok agin wait 30 secs bam new ip iv ben baned over 45 times on 1ventrilo server
