January 20, 200817 yr Author That's a good card but I need something that doesn't extend so far out after the pcie slot due to lack of room in the case
January 20, 200817 yr This is a low profile card : http://myraid.ws/images/bv300-angle.jpg If you dont have room, just get a short card, not a low profile. They're for miniATX cases. If you have a miniATX case, no point in getting a graphics card. They all suck hard.
January 20, 200817 yr that would fit, but does it run decent/? These low profile cards are not gaming cards. They do try and make them powerfull but cant because they just cannot hold the same amount of goodness as full sized cards. This is an extention card for desktop/home pc's that are in small form factor. NOT GAMING CARDS. If you have a small case, you're fucked for gaming.
January 21, 200817 yr You're probably better off just getting a new and bigger case. You can get good size ones for 20 - 40 bucks. Or even hit up a yard sale and buy a 10 year old Intel PC for 10$ and use the case and sell the rest on eBay. It wont be worth much but you might make your money back. Shit, i have 2 or 3 old PC's sitting around and my GF has 4 or 5 that she never uses.
