April 28, 200421 yr Starting off, with what someone said about having a direct link into the U.S. from northern Canada is completely wrong. During the 1950's, there were tons of new weapons developed. Most countries aircrafts, became faster and more powerful. In this time, Canada alone couldn't defend the vast area of igloos.. Canada didn't have the man power, nor did it have the resources to defend it, but the U.S. did. So, the U.S. and Canada co-operated and created NORAD, or the North american air defence. So, a series of radar lines was built and manned. Each countray was responsible for their areas, liek a few hundred km here, and a few their. However, for every like Canadian dollar we put into NORAD, the U.S. put like 10 dollars. So the US would know what was happening before hand. Secondly, if all of the countries wanted to get rid of the U.S. they would. If you took, let's say, The Rock (or anyother fucking huge guy you want, rambo, w.e) and put him up against a normal person. April 28, 200421 yr actually, the SAS and the SBS are the best trained spec forces in the world, they get more 'hands on' training, like getting sent to the jungle for weeks surviving on their own carrying out missons etc. the only difference is, instead of using them as soldier, like delta for instance, they are used for recon and demolitions etc, we dont send them to do a job, just to make it a fuck load easier. for example, scud hunting in the first gulf war. but you're right about shipping us suppies and stuff, but i wouldnt say that you saved us, id say that hitlers stupidity saved us, he missed so many easy oppertunitys to take us over.
