Posted January 24, 200817 yr http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/006319.html Apparently, Time Warner wants to start charging customers for how much they download each month instead of a monthly rate...we're all fucked.
January 24, 200817 yr This won't last, there is companies out there that provide a flat rate that are not controlled by Time-Warner, they are sure to lose millions of dollars before they repeal this policy.
January 24, 200817 yr I don't get how they would come up wit hthe idea of $ per downloaded megabytes. No one else does it its like what ppl did in 1980s.:drool2:

January 24, 200817 yr It'll never work. I have and use Time Warner....the internet sucks enough as it is... I wouldn't pay for a shitty internet connection that's gonna charge me extra just because I play online games...

January 24, 200817 yr Some people need to READ. If you already use TW, then they won't change anything... The trial will only affect new Time Warner customers and no change will be made to the billing of existing customers.
January 24, 200817 yr I pay 19.99 a month, for unlimited downloading yes, ok, my connection is a mere 5mb, but I get some torrent going 900+ kbps from time to time Time Warner is a douche bag for this
January 24, 200817 yr uh lol. We will just have to pirate the entire internet then. its not like the internet exists within their jurisdiction. It will inevitably fail because the internet is like a second, more realistic earth, as internet people show how they really feel as opposed to IRL people.

If they do switch Im going to switch to verizon. Fios has a better basic speed anyway. Also I pay for a certain speed I think I deserve to download what ever I want for ever long it takes.
January 28, 200817 yr you been online so long and you still dident realize that anything that has to do with aol, sucks major balls?
January 28, 200817 yr I recently found out that all of our companies have gb/month limits, even the company I'm using. But I was a member before they did this so I'm in the clear unless I want to change my plan.
