February 16, 200817 yr I was thinking about this, and technically, you're not Americans, you are united states Americans. therefore everyone in North America is an American. Because: You're not America, you're the United States of America, America being North America. People from Asia are Asian, Europeans is European etc, so why are only people from USA considered Americans? Sorry if I make no sence Because WE ARE AMERICA. and so are you, as in your countries are apart of the USA. Canada = Americas Hat. Mexico = Americas colostomy bag.
February 16, 200817 yr its because you and i both fuckin know that were to lazy to say "United States of Americans"..so we just say Americans rifk
February 16, 200817 yr This is how I feel about Canada: http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/2074/0208081mugs171gq4.jpg

February 16, 200817 yr I'm Australian. I noticed that Canadians get very offended when you assume they are American. They go so far as to wear Canadian flags on there T-Shirts. IS THERE A FUCKING DIFFERENCE? They walk, talk and act exactly like Americans.

And when you are nice to us we can be nice back
February 16, 200817 yr that only refers to like...a very very very large group of people. but do you mean wayne gretzky? barry melrose? :buttseks::buttseks:
February 16, 200817 yr http://z.about.com/d/bestsellers/1/0/O/3/-/-/I_Am_America.jpg I have 2 copies of this book. not kidding. Australians are Americans btw. And the only difference between the USA and the Canadia, is that the true patriots (non draft dodging incest lovin bo jenkins) have assault weapons, and canadians do not.
February 17, 200817 yr Australians are Americans btw. I disagree. Recently a US war ship stopped at Brisbane and the sailors came to the city for some R and R. Everyone could immediately tell who the american were. Americans walk very different to Australians, they seem to roll there shoulders as they walk. They also dress like 12 year olds, baggy jeans, baseball cap and just generaly bright colored clothing. This was despite the fact that they were clearly over 30 years of age. Also, most were wearing big chrome chains around there neck and had very big and shinny watches. Australian do not do this, mainly because they would get teased and laughed at. They talk different as well. They refer to each other as "dog".... I'm not sure why. When they dont quite hear you they say "zup"... I think that means "say again". I dont hate Americans, the above is just a general observation.
February 17, 200817 yr Uh, because appearently every american must totally act and dress like that? On our continent, the general behavior and style of people varies from location. just as with the world. therefor you are american, because this planet, is america. (atleast one day it will happen, when we get rid of communism forever.)

Many enlisted men are less educated and dress a bit differently than most Americans. The enlisted men are most likely the ones that you saw wearing the chains and saying "dawg". Second, I sincerely doubt that most of them were wearing big chains, also. I think those who did stood out. That sort of style is mostly discouraged in the Navy. Third, sailors on a tour of duty are not going to bring their best clothing. If you ever see American adult tourists, you are more likely to gain an accurate impression of the average American than an enlisted man in the Navy.
