February 21, 200817 yr Ok, I had a friend who did this. Best option is to just turn yourself in because they definitely have logs of everything done from every computer. They will find out it was you eventually and you might get less of a punishment if you just turn yourself in now. Also, FBI will get involved (eventually) and you could be put in jail and fined for a long time / a lot of money for the "illegal use" of a personal computer. Even if you didn't actually hack anything you still caused destruction of government property (gov't being the school since it's state/federally funded) so they can still get ya for that.
