February 25, 200817 yr you need to start going to support groups for diseases you dont have so that people will actually listen to you, then you will be able to fall asleep. warning: side-effects may include schizophrenia
February 25, 200817 yr I doubt you've been up for 4 days, you'd be having atleast some hallucinations by now and probably far out of reality. If so, go to the doctor and get some ambien etc etc.. Peace
February 25, 200817 yr This probably won't work, but I always found 2-4 Benadryl put me to sleep for a good 12-20 hours. I use it to rapidly change my sleep schedule when I shift from first to third shift and vice-versa. However, if you take four, expect to wake up groggy as hell (and you'll stay that way for the rest of the day unless you go to the gym).
February 25, 200817 yr put 2-4 benadryl in 2-4 shots of your favorite booze thatll knock you right out
February 25, 200817 yr chug some vodka or any other heavy boose and then take some sleeping meds, it will do the trick.

Not to mention the extreme paranoia/psychosis the man would be in. After many hours awake (about 5 days) your body cells start to destroy themselves, 40 years without sleep is not possible. The Guinness Book of Records does not now accept record attempts related to sleep deprivation due to the possible health risks. Some believe the record is held by Toimi Soini from Finland who claimed to have kept awake for 11 days and 12 hours - or 276 hours - in February 1964. He beat Randy Gardner, a 17-year-old California student who kept awake for 264 hours just a few days earlier. Others claim the accepted current world record holder is 43-year-old Tony Wright from Penzance, Cornwall, who stayed awake for a little more than 11 days, or 264 and 15 minutes hours in May of this year. My personal record is 5 days 5 nights, I was extremely paranoid, saw shadowy figures everywhere, black colored spots would constantly block my vision, I would talk at night to people I thought were in my room while laying awake in bed, only to realise that it wasn't possible they were there a few minutes afterwards. 4th and 5th night I had extremely dillusional ideas, couldn't control my own thinking and acting at moments. I slept a bit over 24 hours after that.
February 26, 200817 yr sideways;547321']dam i know what you mean i have the same problem, i usually tire myself out during the day (stop by the gym, go out for a walk etc etc) the most a doctor will do is give u sleep aids You mean /!\ G.R.I.D.S. /!\
February 26, 200817 yr mbt i know exactly what you mean, so take a bunch of xanax and zoloft which is what i do when i can't sleep, don't try rozerem cause the shit is weak. and yes i'm prescribe to take all these things thanks to ptsd, so don't think i'm some pill abuser. and yes be careful if you're staying up A LOT, because paranoia will hit hard, one time i convinced myself that i was the anti christ and the fbi was after me, which looking back is just full of rifk.

February 26, 200817 yr Yes, sleep deprivation makes you trip, hard. It starts with seeing sparkly dots, then mild auditary hallucinations and black shadows in the corner of your eyes. Then you start "dreaming" while awake, I call it dreaming because you don't have control over what you do. You can think you are somewhere else, see friends in your room and talk to them, think you are laying on the ground in a club and yell asking if they would turn the music down so you can sleep while really you're just laying in bed (happened to me once), all while not having control over it. Then at a moment you realise that it isn't possible, and you snap out of it. This can be dangerous, but it doesn't happen much while you are doing something. But when you lay in bed under influence of amphetamines the second+ night, it happens all the time.
February 27, 200817 yr I use to drink Kava tea before going to bed to feel high and then drift off to sleep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kava

February 27, 200817 yr I have the same fuckin problem, the doctor said I have CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and how I'm always tired. But at night, I'm fucken wired. My mother, a well paid physician, said it's from me being on the computer too much and it's stimulating my brain. The doctor told me to get off the computer 1-2 hours prior to getting rest, hope this helps
