Well I "acquired" some passwords for accounts on a certain online game. Got quite a harvest in items, and I've just sold nearly all of them for a healthy sum on eBay.

With the fact that through simple intelligence, know-how and sense I've managed to make actual, physical cash entirely through a small upload/download cable to the internet. I feel powerful :naughtyd:

The items are still on the host's server, they were not removed from the server, and the developers who are in control of the server have full access to do whatever they want with the item. All I did was move the item from one location on the server to another, for a fee.

It's like picking up a shirt off a rack in a store, and placing it on another rack 1m away. That look illegal to you?

sold kiddie pr0n to kids who wanted porn to fap to

Not quite, it was in-game items

You wouldn't believe the prices some people are willing to pay.

I sell steam accounts and bought a shitload of things including computer parts and an ipod touch which I am using to type this message at the moment.

I lit someones yard on fire one time after I threw a cigarette butt out the window. Flames were easily 12-15 feet high.

Lies. Cigarettes won't even catch gas on fire, much less grass.

Lawl @ HIGHLY ILLEGAL. I was expecting something involving the feds.

Using social engineering to steal whether an email address or some game account is something everyone in these forums has done at least once, I'm sure. Don't sweat it, kid. It doesn't require the least amount of skill or intelligence.

Couldn't have said it any better, anyone who knew #scam during the golden days on LCIRC knew that this little profit is a joke
