I have an nvidia geforce 6600 gt vid card. When i install it my comp doesn't boot up. I take the card out and it works fine. my comp uses a shitty on board radeon xpress200. What do you guys think.

Connect the monitor ON the video card. Not the old connection on your motherboard.

If that doesnt work

go in your BIOS and change the setting for you video device from onboard video to PCI-E or AGP, which ever you have.

If that doesnt work, the card is fried

Did you get it working?

If not, try disabling the onboard video in your BIOS. That is what may be causing it not to boot. If that doesn't work, see if you can try the card in another computer.
