Anyway Anime is popular since they can make any story they want come to life, try making a series in the UK or USA about most story lines based on fantasy, you end up with a waste of cash and some really shite program, at least anime can get the weird fantasys to come to life and look good (all you cunts hating on anime, why do you run to play rpg's etc? that comes from Japan with anime/manga roots, also why do you love shite like disneys jungle book? Cos you fag?). Manga though, that is just like comic books, you must be major nerd to go hunt down anime in them specialist stores, just to get ya weekly fix or Naruto etc.
March 29, 200817 yr -cracks knuckles- Now THIS should be good. I agree with most of the animes that have been listed... but you're missing quite a few. Let's try Neon Genesis Evangelion - it's mentally and physically violent to not only the characters, but DAMN it messes you up if you understand it. Gantz is a given... Berserk is HELLA violent/gorey. Elfen Lied is pretty messed up (and I heard they might possibly do a second season?) Hellsing is amazing, but don't get me wrong, it's no where near what Berserk or Gantz is. The manga is a lot more fucked up, though. (And I love Hellsing - I have Alucard's Release Symbol on my lower back.) I could go on and on... but I'm a little tired.
March 31, 200817 yr Berserk is HELLA violent/gorey. Yeah it was good but too damn short, they cut the series off too early imo, the manga apparently went on for ages beyond the animes ending but I don't like reading too lazy lol. Gungrave ok so it might have got a little shit after the re-animation stuff, but the early gangster days stuff was a good story and lots of violence.
