I don't even really care that they support EA...I'm actually glad I found out about it...I just think they jumped the shark for different reasons.

Think of myg0t in terms of a business. This business was indeed of updating it's hardware (computers). One of the employees of the business owns part of a computer company. This company gave them computers with everything they asked for in them (software, hardware, long warranty) at a decent price and the transition from old to new was smooth. Their productivity proceeds to see a dramatic increase after this new hardware is implemented. Is it wrong for the business to give credit where credit is due?

 

The only thing myg0t is doing out of the ordinary is making the information public, rather than keeping it between a private sector. In doing this they are allowing their competitors access to the same thing they have access to, which could end up giving them less of an edge. Regardless, EA appears to hold such an edge that it was only a matter of time before it became publicized by someone.

 

Besides, what's wrong with helping people make some money when they produce a good product?
