Posted March 27, 200817 yr Ok, so I have a 600 watt pwr sply with 8800GTX, 680li Mobo, 2Gb ddr2 ram, intel core 2 duo processor, 5 case fans, and 2 red neons. Every time I try to turn on the computer the power supply starts smelling like a rotten snatch, do I need more wattage?

March 27, 200817 yr If you guys need that much power for your systems you need to buy better built hardware. You should not need more then 1 horsepower in your pc.
March 28, 200817 yr I am not at home right now, but I have a similar hardware set up to you running off 600W no problem. At least im pretty sure its only 600w will edit once I double check. You don't need a huge psu, just get one that isn't the cheapest on the shelf.
