Anyway american soldiers do take the piss in combat, breaking all the geneva convetions under the sun, not to mention being fuking cowards in combat. In combat when an enemy attacks you, by all means defend yourself, but when the enemy retreat you are supposed to let them retreat, not hunt them down one by one as they flea (or snipe them in the back like cowards). Also you ain't supposed to harm any innocents who are no involved in combat, your fuking marines just love to shoot at any and everyone in the general direction of gunmen like pussies.

Especially when they no longer have any will or desire (maybe even no capacity) to fight you? You argue they will come back with more..More will come regardless of you letting them go or not, only question is, how do you know those who flea will ever return to the battlefield? Maybe they will fear for their life so much they will return to thier family, some may abandon thier cause and others may switch sides, and lastly a few will return to fight again. But the above coward mentality will never let those options become a reality for those unfortunate enough to fight people with no honour or valour on the battlefield.
