No one appreciated the 300 dollar price tag and no one thought the online system would work. xbox basically souped up the idea and made it work when the time was right. I still own a dreamcast and like 35 games because theyre all so damn cheap. Love it.

And there isn't very much repitition in ninja gaiden thanks in part to the practically thousands of different ways you can do things, and the fact that each weapon has corresponding melee attacks, and certain weapons get picked up as the game progresses. the game also has a complex magic system to integrate into the fighting.

If anything I'd say pc controller's can actually be BETTER because there are more variety to choose from and the companies probably put more research into them.

Multiplayer-in-the same-room is one thing consoles have going for them. That's not enough to warrant buying a crippled computer that only plays shitty games, though.
