Yea, that cat probably died instantly. Didn't even have time to react, only realised it was a cat after i got out. It was dead by then.

I can only hope that all the animals stupid enough to run out on the middle of the road will have been culled from the population before reproducing. Eventually, only the animals that stay the fuck out of the road will survive and the problem solves itself.
