Posted April 8, 200817 yr I bought the new Atreyu album and I love it. I feel so damn guilty for enjoying a band that is touring with Avenged Sevenfold...Forgive me FATHER! But they're really good imo...I've denied my Melodic Death Metal roots, but I just can't help it...someone give me advice to hate this band.

Seriously, just cause someone wears mascara doesn't make em emo...I was just feeling guilty cause they get associated with A7x which is an extremely shitty band...
April 10, 200817 yr Lol the reason everyone calls them emo is because their music sounds too mainstream now. But that's the way all metalcore bands seem to be headed in. Killswitch Engage used to make awesome metalcore, but they're 'emo' now as well.

Same goes with A7X but at least they still make good music. To each his own though, but I just prefer to listen to good music. BTW Opeth kicks ass, and I am counting the days down till Watershed.

April 14, 200817 yr ill be honest i got drunk and someone said they wanted me to go to a concert in florida with them. i said ok, slept the way there, drank till 7 then went to see the show that started at 5. atreyu was playing and sounded like shit so we fucking talked the whole show. avenged sevenfold went up after and by then i was sober. they put on a pretty decent show but then again atreyu was fucking terrible. id rather watch my neighbor mow his lawn in a speedo than hear that crap. after the show i was leaving and we stole a shit ton of rockstar energy drink from this truck parked in the back haha.
