Posted April 27, 200817 yr How to convert Youtube videos to voice annoys! This allows access to basically every clip of anything you can imagine on the internet. So heres what you need VLC Media player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html dbPowerAMP (free): http://www.download.com/dBpoweramp-Music-Converter/3000-2140-10042534.html?part=dl-dBpoweram&subj=dl&tag=button dbPowerAMP MP4 codec: http://codecs.dbpoweramp.com/codecs-new/dBpoweramp-Codec-m4a.exe So lets start this dumbass tutorial First, you need to get your video off of youtube. You can use one of these tools here to save the FLV from youtube: http://guidtech.net/vidmine/index.php http://keepvid.com/ After you have saved the file on your hard drive, open VLC media player and in the menu go to File -> Open File... Once the dialog pops up, in the advanced options at the bottom click the checkbox that says "Stream/Save" and then hit the "Settings" button. In the settings, tick the "File" checkbox ( so its on ) then you find the path where you will save the audio file ( IT MUST END IN ".m4a" ) Generic Example: C:\Documents and Settings\s0beit\Desktop\voice_annoy\converted_audio.m4a Then below set the Encapsulation method to "MP4" finally, set these transcoding options: Audio Codec: "mp4a" bitrate: 128 Channels: 2 then click "OK", after this you are back in the file dialog, click the "Browse..." button to find the audio file on your hard drive, once located hit "OK" and the transcoding will begin, once finished the ".m4a" file will be playable in windows media player, being only the audio portion of the youtube video. Next, we need to convert it to Source engine/1.6 format by opening the file with dbPowerAmp ( ensure "dbPowerAMP MP4 codec" is installed!! ) Right click your audio file ( After dbpoweramp is installed, you can also use "MusicConverter.exe" in dbpoweramp directory ) then click "Convert To", then you select "Wave", ( Tick uncompressed ) "16bit (CD)", "12khz", and "1 (mono)" then hit the convert button, all done. below is a .wav converted version of http://youtube.com/watch?v=uzgGUW__9Jo link: http://rapidshare.com/files/110725408/converted_audio.rar.html
