May 7, 200420 yr Author on betawatcher.com i saw this -- One note that readers of betawatcher.com may find interesting is that the Beta tester agreement and privacy policy for The Matrix Online signup Includes permission for Time Warner to pass around beta tester personal Information to all sorts of companies, both within the Time Warner stable and, well, darn near any other company on the face of the planet. I suggest that if people don't want to be getting lots of junk mail and fully premised junk e-mail, they shoot off a quick email to [email protected] explicitly retracting the permission to distribute their personal, private information to third parties (advertisers/email list compilers).
