Despite popular belief... most, if not all, don't come with the chips themselves. I know some people that sell kits to make them, and entire kits are generally around 100 dollars all said and done. The core kit is like 15, the sid kit is like 20 and so on. The nice thing is, you build your own filters, and everything... from scratch. Hell, you even have to make your own case. I might even get a breadboard and solder everything from scratch and say fuck it to pcb lol
