June 5, 200816 yr I'm not a fan of the gratuitous use of aggressive tone mapping, however, it does seem like the trendy thing to do nowadays.
June 7, 200816 yr Author Thanks for the input. on thoes other pictures i was not using a polorized filter, just a UV one. i shot 3 pics all in raw and made a HDR with photomatix, from there i opened it up in PS, made a duplicate layer and changed the curves on it till some parts looked righ, ie the sky. from there i vectormaped every thing else out that i didnt want changed and merged the two layers, the dark sky with the rest of the picture.
