HD X2 Radeon 4870 graphics card with 1 or 2 Gbyte GDDR5 memory and should consume approximately 250 watts. There will be a chip clock of 1050 MHz and a memory clock of 1800 MHz. Seems pretty sick considering the fact its using new GDDR5 technology with 1050 MHz and a memory clock of 1800 MHz. I was also reading somewhere that it said it is better than the 9800 GTX. At a price of around 225 - 300, how can this be any better? Comments plz

June 11, 200816 yr I've got 2 nvidia cards and then I bought ATI HD3780 and its much better. Its cooler, faster and Catalyst is a great program to OC imo AMD + ATI = sexy :gaysex2:
June 27, 200816 yr Idk if I wanna buy a 4850 + Accelo S1 CUZ THE STOCK COOLING SUCKS DICK, or just fork out the extra 60 for a 4870. I'm waiting for temp reports on the 70 to see if the dual slot cooling is even efficient.

July 27, 200816 yr Went 70, Had the 4870 for about 3 weeks now and it's great, only game I can't run maxxed out with unplayable settings it's obviously Crysis. Other then that, the fan is definitely efficient, card has not yet once exceeded 67ºC after applying the fan fix. Now with 8.7's drivers I have seen a small increase in frames.
