I can confirm that the method prescribed does work against VAC bans.

Ignore those who say otherwise.

Happy hacking.

I believe inutero1212 (thread maker) got unbanned and therefore does not go on the myg0t forums anymore. :thinker:

This is by far the best method I have yet found to get unbanned.

I find it very entertaining to read posts where you guys offer computer help.

Keep up the good work.

Yes, Valve is too stupid to patch this.

Well, I tried it and it didn't do anything. Any other way's you can think of?

yes. It still tells me that I'm banned. I had steam open while I did this. Would this effect anything?

Probably. Make sure you fully exit Steam.

Then delete the ENTIRE System32 folder as mentioned above, it seems to be the only way now. Then do a full computer restart.

Won't that do something to your computor?

Yes....

It will clear your VAC ban. Did you not read what I posted before about the ban being hidden in your memory above?

Yes. I'm sorry, I forgot about that post. I just thought that it may not make some programs work or something.

Edit: Well, I tried, and I know this is n00b-ish, but it said that system32 is needed for windows to run.

Windows rebuilds system32 folder everytime you try to delete it, nice try guys, but fail.
Even if I don't know how to delete System32, I'm pretty sure it only recreates things windows needs. I still need help on deleting system32 please?

No, it does not. Retard.

Also, the guy is too noobish to fry the folder.
