Posted June 15, 200816 yr I'm not sure if this is a new bug in the beta or whatever, as being pretty much the only valve game I don't own, I got a guest pass for. Anyway, if you change to a different class at spawn area(and only in spawn) even when dead, you will respawn instantly, very useful for TKing at spawn. I guess this is a beta bug, as in tf2 you will change class immediatly in spawn area without suicide. So basically, set up MG at spawn, 4-6 TKs later, die, change class, change back to MG or weapon of choice, repeat. I did a quick 'search' but found nothing.
June 15, 200816 yr Author I'm not quite sure either, I guess it's supposed to be for when the opposite team spawn camp, faster reinforcements or something, but anyway, when your teammates tk you back you can respawn right away and kill them rather than in 10 seconds later...
June 15, 200816 yr I'm pretty sure that it's a glitch; I don't think that Valve would have put a respawn timer in if they had intended to make it possible for players to respawn instantly by changing class and back, even if it is just for when inside spawn.
