Noob here! I can't serach because I don't have the privledges to do so.

 

I have a sniffer and HLSW and have been trying to sniff for RCON for a server. I can't seem to find the plaintext of the rcon.

 

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong? Another prog that I should be looking into? Any help would be great.

as rcon is a computer thing and does not give off a smell it is impossible to sniff it.

It should be stored in server.cfg or something.

Just forget about rcon and move on over the cocain.

It is stored in the server.cfg. I can talk in PM if you wish this information to stay out of public view.

 

How can I find the correct packet? I have Et***Detect installed.
