June 24, 200816 yr depending on what car that is looks like 3 - 4 grand of damage but i dunno what kinda car that is. if you have airbags and they deployed that's usually enough to total a vehicle
June 24, 200816 yr If it was fixed at a body shop, that is easily $3000-$4000 in damage. I had similiar damage down to my wifes car when some idiot hit it. Looks the frame is bent at the bottom, which will probably need to be cut out and replaced.

If it wasnt your fault and you did bend the frame you could have had it paid off and kept the car if it was still drivable. But like everyone else said a couple grand at least.

Whoever told you just to fix the door is a fucking moron.. It's going to be at LEAST $1000 to get the body work re-done because like OMP said it's bent.. The frame will NEVER be the same.. June 25, 200816 yr Its a unibody, which means its going to cost some cash to repair. If your rocker got bent by the collision thats going to be a bitch. Was there any damage to the roof. I had a similar thing happen to me, but I was hit on my driver-side door. Just ended up writing it off as totalled, because of the amount it would cost to repair.

You might be able to buy a new used car at a police auction for real cheap. These are the cars that get impounded when people get arrested, and they never pay their bill to get their care released. Cope end up having to sell them off in auctions for pennies on the dollar. yea thats where my uncle goes, then he fixes em up if they need it and he sells them for like 5k+, he's gettin me a ford f150 pickup for like 500 in a couple months
