Posted June 29, 200816 yr Nobody else wanted me since my overall grades sucked. By nobody else I mean "Oneonta" since it's the only other place I liked when I visited. I did no work from 2nd half of tenth on, so they took me for my test scores. I just graduated yesterday, so I'll be attending this fall. Anybody else from the forums going that I need to watch out for?

June 30, 200816 yr Yea, I'm going to have to agree that it gets colder than all hell there during the winter when I made my visit up there. It'll be fun being a good 45 minute drive away from Canada though. Drinking age is 18 there. :D

Oh, and you'd better learn to love cheap, cheap beer. And you'd better hope you get in a frat, cause frats up there are the main party hosts. Not a lot of non-frat partying from what I've heard.

Yeah it's cold, but I only live 2 hours south. No big deal. As for the frat thing, everyone drinks, all the time. My friend who's home for the summer would not feel half a liter of vodka at this point, his tolerance went through the roof. And I plan on going to Canada a couple times because Montreal isn't far and there are plenty of good grind/death metal shows up there. Anyway, I'll probably meet your friend eventually Tom.
