Posted July 8, 200816 yr MS Contin is a time-released formulation of morphine, usually taken every twelve hours for chronic pain. It is the brand name for morphine sulfate marketed by Purdue Pharma. It is available in tablet and liquid formulas in doses of 15mg, 20mg, 30mg, 60mg, 100mg and 200mg. Due to its strength, it is typically prescribed to cancer patients and victims of severe but non-cognitive-damaging trauma. Now I was taking 35-40mg hydrocodone at a time at least twice a day for migraines and I had no tolerance to opiates at all. Convert here: http://www.globalrph.com/narcoticonv.htm Now you see that I was taking the equivalent of doses of morphine given to cancer patients and trauma patients except I wasn't taking it extended release. I was taking their whole days dose as a single dose with no tolerance and I still did not get 100% pain relief nor did anything ever do shit for the sensitivity to sound and light EXCEPT dxm. Only dxm has given me complete relief from all the pain. Now you fuckers can understand why I take dxm every day for my migraines because I was taking opiates like that with no tolerance and it sucked. The dxm completely eliminates the pain and prevents me from getting the migraines. It also keeps me from being super sensitive to light and sound so I can live life and function thanks to dxm instead of being stuck in bed and completely non-functional. Now it's your turn everyone else on the forum describe the worst pain you've ever felt in your life whether it's STARCRAFT 3 smashing your dick with a hammer or you playing with matches and lighting your dumbass on fire. Please share, thankies~! Edited July 9, 200816 yr by [myg0t]sp0rky

July 8, 200816 yr Author Leopulse;572697']Being operated on and waking up too early Omg that's scary! I've heard of that happening but it's supposed to be rare. I remember seeing this lady on 20/20 talking about an operation where she woke up and was conscious but was unable to move or do anything due to some other drug that kept her paralyzed. She basically had a large majority of her operation done while like that and the worst part was she could feel all the pain and everything they did.
