July 25, 200816 yr I don't see the problem with the main guy in the video.. he was doing it for fun and a little money, it was the other guys that were the assholes trying to push his car till the engine blew on it or the cops showed up. Don't know how that CRX didn't beat him though, probably was a horrible driver.
July 25, 200816 yr Dumb spic, I hope the next motor it 'builds' spontaneously combusts in their face.
July 25, 200816 yr You think people should be murdered because they don't know what they are talking about, or their beliefs in something? Nice show of mature thought processes going on there.
July 25, 200816 yr Author "You think people should be murdered because they don't know what they are talking about, or their beliefs in something?" Captain, you are on myg0t.com. Do not make a bigger fool out of yourself than you already have. Anyways to answer your question, they don't "deserve" to be killed because street racing is clearly not even close to many other issues out there but it's growing and growing, which has become a problem. I can guarantee you that no one in that video was somewhat educated, well maybe the cops eh? Have you seen a "true life" or w/e show on street racing which involves cars that are actually made to be raced? I don't think you have because of the fact that those cars and drivers do their homework. I am among those individuals who owns a racing car, i street race and go onto the track once in a while. I am not driving a POS riced out civic or w/e you might call it. I drive a 2006 beauteous GTO (ls2 engine obviously). Many modifications have been done to it. Now go to sleep :sleep2:

Now go to sleep :sleep2: I am fully aware of which website I am currently posting on. Am I really making myself out to be a fool by pointing out the asinine statement that the death penalty should be enforced on people that "don't know what they are talking about" ? Hmm... As I say, 'To Each Their Own' I guess... Just seems a little extreme to me. I didn't watch the video so I cannot comment on the intelligence level of anyone appearing in it. I can guarantee you that no one in that video was somewhat educated, well maybe the cops eh? Seems to me that you might not be the best candidate to discuss intelligence levels with the amount of flip-flopping going on there. But once again that's just my 2% As for never seeing a show on "street racing" you are correct. I also do not street race. It endangers yourself, others in the race, spectators, and the public. It gives automotive racing a negative impression to the public. I do however race every other Sunday here at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, if you are ever in town shoot me PM and I will be more than happy to show you around our little set up we got going, and buy you a beer afterwards. The drag is only a 1/8, which I don't mind as I find drag racing to be about as exciting as watching NASCAR. We do get some quite nice slalom and small track racing going though. Usually run in brackets, but we often mix it up. I invite all in or around San Diego to come by. Hit me up via PM on here before hand and I'll make sure you get introduced to all the right people, and have a hell of a time. Feel free to enter your daily driver, or track only vehicles, we do it all. http://www.sandiego.gov/qualcomm/event/tenants/racelegal.shtml http://racelegal.com/web/videos.asp Edited July 25, 200816 yr by Captian

I didn't offend you in anyway correct? I really wasn't trying to be a dick. I got that gto from my brother btw, i choose the gto over the built sti because of the fact out here in AZ we drag 99% of the times. In a straight the gto walks all over the sti but in the twisties the gto might as well go home. If i am in Sandiego i will hit you up.

After hanging around here for so long I learned long ago to let everything roll right off my back and laugh. I was just messing with you by taking your statement about death literally to annoy you. ;) My RSX-S isn't quick enough to make a good drag car, especially considering it is loaded down with too much crap. (stereo system, subs, ect. - It is my daily driver). I put almost all my work into handling and breaking, with just enough engine, exhaust , and drive train work to give it a little extra zip. That's why I stick to the slalom and track races. I'm sure I would find drag racing more fun if I had a car that was better at it. Myself and my father (z4 3.0i - Minor mods, his daily driver) are at Qualcomm pretty much every Sunday afternoon. We don't race every time (depends how much money I feel like spending on getting another set of tires) but we are always there with friends BBQing/ drinking a few beers (on days we don't race) and checking out everyone's rides and engaging in some friendly competition. It's nothing impressive (just a bunch of cones in a huge parking lot for the track and slalom races), but it is a great friendly environment with all kinds of cars ranging from daily driver imports like mine, all the way up to Shelbys, Porches and the occasional Ferrari/ect.
