Listen to ATB - 9am ( Till I come ) You need beeps like that, those beeps are crowd pleasers.

frooty loops is probly the best prog to make music, at least its the only one i know of thats really good.

blocky']http://www.telusplanet.net/blocky/music/

there are 2 songs

first attempt so be kind

Nice first attempts. I think the evil circus one is better. It takes some fucking balls to upload your first tries here.

Now that you have your loops worked out you could try working on song structure. And vary your effects paramenters over time for more interestingness.

On Cleverhat, I suggest replacing the VERY first sound you hear. Take that particular sound out of the whole song and do something else. The other sound pattern is pretty good.
It's nice, not outstanding, but for a first time, not terrible either. It's catchy.

Fruity Loops lies somewhere between pro audio and fun fun music toy.

People who are serious but can't afford hardware are better advised to use something like Cubase with vst plugins.

Lol, it does sound like 80s music, and kinda like snes music, but nice first attempts.

sounds all like NES tunes, :D but hey, that shit is hard as hell to make, ive tried before.

sounds good to me.

props.

use cubase if you wanna be m3n

use reason if you need to learn fundamentals of making music

use fruity loops if you want to sound like poop.

also if youre interested in getting together and tips with some really good djs and producers i really encourage you to check out messageboard.globalbeatz.net

lot of djs and producers who have been around a while (mostly texas scene though) and not a lot of idiot pill munching rave-tards.
