Prices start at just $20,000 for a 40 CPU Core (10x quad-core Intel Xeons) system configurable with up to 60GB of RAM and a power draw of just 15A. And it's "portable" in the same way a refrigerator is portable: it has wheels.

now you guys can check your email and play cs1.6 without any lag

FYI you can build an 8-node render farm with 2 xeon quad-cores and 8GB of RAM per node (making 64 cores in total) with standard server parts bought through newegg or whatever for only $14,000.

I guess it gets expensive when you try to jam all that shit into a single PC.

internet is srs business.

A serious use would be to process things rapidly. Anywhere from running 100 programs to creating images that are a mil pixels by a mil pixels.

Honestly Im not entirely sure. You'd still have a bottle neck at the GPU if you were going to be playing high end games...

Yea you could def brute force your way into some gnarly shit with that thing going. 20 g's for a comp is nuts tho.
