Posted May 23, 200420 yr Since nineteen84 is writing some guides, I thought I'd add one for battlefield 1942. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember, the best rage on 1942 is done on vehicle+plane maps, and wake, of course.. Remember, this is a guide that doesn't involve direct TKing, because most servers have FF off now. General: #1 Reverse tking. Easiest methods are to:: A. Drive jeeps into launching airplanes, jumping out before the impact happens. You get popped up into the air after the jeep explodes, and your teammate recieves -2 for teamkilling. Takes timing. B. take a jeep/wheeled vehicle and slam into a AA battery while a ally is manning it. Your vehicle will flip, and your teammate will get the -2 for tking. C. on foot, run in front of airplanes after they take off (you need low health). Stay in front and jump constantly, and if you get the timing right sometimes it gives you a reverse TK. #2 Radio spamming: You can figure this out yourself, although I think the most annoying ploy is to say enemy submarine spotted on all land maps. #3 Upset the fold by accusing people (especially the ones who you are reverse teamkilling) of cheating/tking. Once I had 10 people kicked+banned off of a nazi server because of this. The admin was a dick and once he found out it was myself causing the trouble, I got the ban too :( #4 Jeep+landmine+truck+landmine > airplanes on the runway, k? #5 Anything else you can think of that will truely disturb people, there are many rage mechanisms left in bf:1942 Wake: #1 Take control of the carrier and place it on the edge of the map, nose facing the kill zone. Take it as far in as you can, so that you do not get killed by the kill zone, but it will kill planes and spawning players before they can get away. #2 Play bumper wars with the ships, caused mass confusion and really fucks up any kind of opening and midgame strategy, plus makes the ships good targets for planes #3 If you have a rage team, eliminate the battleship and sub and follow step #1, especially at game beginning #4 on the island, upper right corner of the island, take any vehicle and block the roadway, it works wonders with 2+ ragers #5 On either side, if your team has no spawn points left, hide somewhere in the middle of the map behind cover, and hope that you're the last person left. If someone on your team acts like they are going to give your position away, move toward a spawn point a little bit and recamp. It can make the map last forever if done properly, raging your entire team. BOB: AXIS side only: You can stop the german attack full force with 2+ ragers, using the airplane collide method. Generally what happens is that after a person tk's you, they are killed, and the airplane stops. Therefore, the airfield is littered with planes that can't launch for shit because of the short runway length. Also see reverse tking for german side, it's highly effective in all manners. Allied side only: Spawn close to any allied AA batteries with a engineer pack. Load a jeep with dynamite, drive it inside the door of the aa battery, and set off charges. Excellent rage, because the engineers that are close to you will come and try to TK you, if they do decreasing their odds of fixing the thing up And people get trapped inside the battery as well. Reverse tk on the airfields Manning the aa batteries and not shooting the axis planes

The admin was a dick and once he found out it was myself causing the trouble, I got the ban too :( that wud almost never happen, becos they always say stop whining and then they dont give a fuck running in front of airplanes is best, u wanna do it on a realism type of mod fh, xww2 and run just before they take off its fucking great
