Posted October 5, 200816 yr i've had the new iPod touch for a few weeks now and i'm thinking of jailbreaking it. if something goes wrong, does it damage my warranty? because i've heard it does with the iPhone, but not with the touch, but i've heard lots of different stories so far.. anyone know what the deal is if something fucks up?
October 5, 200816 yr There is no need to jailbreak anymore, go download *pwnage tool, make a custom firmware, and update the iphone/itouch in itunes with the custom firmware and you are done *winpwn for windows pcs if it fucks up and you just restore it and your done, there is virtually no way you can really fuck up Edited October 5, 200816 yr by [myg0t]sideways
October 5, 200816 yr If you need to send it in for repair under warranty you can just restore to original system settings.

October 6, 200816 yr Yeah, there is no possible way to fuck it up. Those who say they did are a bunch of retards who need to do some research. If something does happen to fuck up, just read on how to force your iPod Touch into restore mode. Also, if you do (for some reason) need to take your iPod in for maintinence, you'll have to do a full restore. They won't know, its basically the same thing as doing destructive install with windows.
