Though I am devout in my faith, I do not believe that to speak a language besides English is a sin. So to claim that we should only speak the word of God would indicate that the language in which the Bible (the true word of God) is written in is the one language that we should speak. This is untrue. I truly believe that our Lord's message is a spiritual one that must be felt, but can be understood and spread by the use of the medium of a language, any language. What I'm saying is that we should all hear and accept God's holy words, but His words are not a language in themselves.

I like John Winthrop's posts they bring an element of seriousness amidst the farce that occupies many threads and often Captian's posts as well.
